Personal Endorsement of MAC-V
I, Publius Jr, am a US Army Veteran. I’ve been diagnosed by the VA Minneapolis with Depression. I’ve used MAC-V for housing assistance, and also in looking for employment. They helped me to put together a resume, did job interview skills. In the Spring of 2020 just before the lockdowns they helped me get on a Homeless Veteran Program for Homeless Veterans or those Vets who were at risk of being evicted for failure to pay rent. This program is called HUD-VASH. I was never homeless, but I couldn’t find a job and I was recommended to apply for this program so I could stay in my low income apartment in St Paul.
HUD-VASH for those who are interested is a rental voucher system for Veterans. It is sometimes called, “Section 8 for Vets.” I’ll post an article dedicated to explaining this program. This program was running all throughout President Trump’s 1st term in office and he didn’t seem to know it existed because his rhetoric in 2024 was that we should do more for Vets than border hoppers. For now you can click this link on HUD-VASH
I’m not just promoting this to help Vets, but they’ve helped me as well. Another nonprofit Veteran Charity is the next one and they helped me too.
Another Twin Cities Veteran Charity
When you hear of Non-profits getting grants from the government, this MAC-V is one you can be sure of that does exactly what it says. Another Veteran Charity you may not have heard of amid all the nationally known ones operates blocks from the VA-Minneapolis called, Every Third Saturday. They used to distribute clothes, supplies for housing, and such on the third Saturday of the Month, but they do this nearly everyday and they have a coffee shop next door that is connected with it.
Saintpaulrepublicans.us was not compensated for posting this article. I have been helped by both local Veteran Charity Organizations. I do not get paid to post articles, nor for the social media for this site. This website is not the SPRCC’s (never has been, and yet they copy the url name and I wish they wouldn’t). This website isn’t affiliated with the Republican Party of Minnesota nor their Veteran Affiliate group.
