I just went to a funeral of an acquaintance from Toastmasters. She was a beloved wife, mother and leader. She died of brain cancer. If the FDA had approved of the medicine of Dr Burzynski, and other researchers 40+ years ago, she would still be alive. I saw a story from a “White Hat” some months ago and I couldn’t believe the FDA had blocked this treatment for more than 4 decades despite evidence of numerous patients being cured.~~ Publius Jr.
It seems the FDA is much like what Dr David E Martin says about regulatory capture, it has stopped being a regulator of an industry and is now an advocate of Big Pharma and profits off of them. You can’t get drugs approved unless you are part of Big Pharma. It seems it is all about the money. This seems to be a theme in the Federal Government as this policy is in the US Patent Office too.
Speaking of the US Patent Office, after denying the approval of clinical trials and harassing Dr Burzynski through legal threats, raids, and subpoenas, one of the FDA’s cronies in Big Pharma filed for a US Patent for Antineoplaston claiming it was theirs. They then went on a smear campaign to lie about Dr Burzynski’s reputation and treatment. Dr Burzynski says in the documentary that the treatment with Antineoplaston is not the same with each patient and therefore he could not patent the formula.
The very actions of the FDA in banning any drugs that have promise which don’t come from their cronies in Big Pharma, and stealing the very medicines from those grassroots medical professionals seems criminal. Allowing experimental mRNA medicines to be approved because the retiring head of the NIAID Dr Fauci is married to the person at the FDA who approved the mRNA medicine on an emergency use basis is very unethical (it is not a vaccine). It has known side effects which include death that are not told to those mandated to take them like Damar Hamlin, the Buffalo Bills player whose heart stopped because of this drug, not the spin Big Pharma is now shoveling (Many drug companies are sponsors of NFL games and TV News).
The FDA needs to be held accountable and possibly be disbanded in favor of a completely new organization that is accountable and open in it’s operation.
As of this writing one medicine of Dr Burzynski has been FDA approved and 2 others are in final clinical trials.
