Thanks to All the MN State Fair Police & Police Reserves and Public Safety Team

Dear Reader:

If you’ve wondered what I, Publius Jr, have been doing since August 23, 2018. I’ve been working at the MN State Fair on the Morning Shift, Lot 55 Public Safety Team. I’ve been making sure pedestrians can cross the front of Lot 55 without being injured by cars, bikes and other conveyances.

This afternoon, September 3rd, after the Lot became FULL, one of the State Fair Police Reserve Officers working traffic control showed me the video below. I thought it would be fitting to dedicate it to all the MN State Fair Police & Police Reserve Officers, especially the Public Safety Team crew I have worked with through the MN State Fair.  I’ll list the MN State Fair Police Officers first then the Lot 55 West Como Lot and others of the Public Safety Team I’ve worked with (and have made cookies for), first names only in no particular order.

MN State Fair Police Reserve Officers:  Aimee, Alexa, Brandon, Paul, Heather, Allen, Kelly, Bob, and David.

Public Safety Team Morning Shift (Lot 55 mostly): Dave, Paul, Steve, Louie, Mike, Tom, Gina, Jackie, John, Shawn, Wolfgang, Tim, and others.

Also the Public Safety Department Supervisor  Bill Trinka and the New MN State Fair Police Chief Paul Paulos.

Special mention to Greg Copeland working his second straight year at the fair at Gate 16 Transit Hub (helping people find their Park & Ride Bus)—he loaned me a chair to sit on for breaks and when the Lot is FULL.

Thanks to you for your service to MN State Fair Goers.

~~ Publius Jr
