2022 Marydale Festival Saturday, September 24th 12 to 5 PM

Marydale Park is next to Lake Loeb to the east of the train tracks between Maryland Ave West, Dale st, Mackubin, and Jessamine Ave

This Festival goes largely unnoticed each year because it is the first weekend of the Fall, the kids are in school and it’s on the edge of North End and the Lake Como Neighborhoods. Could possibly rename it the Conny’s Creamy Cone Festival and it might attract more people.  Yet this has survived and the Rice Street Parade hasn’t.

One of the Republican Candidates from Legislative District 66 has said that the organizers have not welcomed political candidates to this festival but at the the same time they allow the City, County and State to have booths at this event.  This is the usual mindset from the Institutional Party aka St Paul DFL that they own this city. Ironically they blame Republicans for all the failures and the gun violence in the most livable city in Minnesota. How that is possible when there are no Republicans in elected office in either the city, the county, nor legislative districts in St Paul and there are no gun shops within St Paul’s City Limits.

There ought to be a booth that offers a counterpoint to all the booths from the city services explaining there is a better way to offer charitable services.

It looks to be a great day outside to be outside with friends and family.
